I am an American abstract artist living in Sweden. My paintings are can be found in private and corporate collections and are exhibited in esteemed galleries internationally.

My work reflects a profound love of nature, spurred by elements that unexpectedly catch my attention. I explore why some places resonate and others don’t, focusing on the unique interplay of color, movement, and textures. While capturing nature’s full essence is impossible, my goal is not replication but a personal representation of my observations and emotions.

As a painter, I am guided by instinct, though I start with an idea that informs my process. I begin with simple drawings or markings, allowing dynamic interaction with the canvas to unfold. I layer, remove, and explore depth and texture, often drawing directly on the canvas with chalk or charcoal.

Being self-taught has freed me to develop a unique style unbound by conventional techniques. Through intuitive and personal discovery, I cherish moments of immersion in painting, as it is then that my work truly comes alive.
